Domaine Geschickt - Pinot Gris - Alsace (Orange Wine)
A skin contact Pinot Gris from the Geschickt negocé, with a dash of Gewurztraminer from a Grand Cru vineyard. A deep pinky orange in colour after a one month slow maceration, creating tanning structure as well. The maceration continued for one month which has nicely developed the colour and the tannin structure in this wine. It was matured in steel tanks. Striking wine. Delicate smell of plums. A crispy and generous long finish. Think pomegranate, cranberry and grapefruit zest.
