Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable wine enthusiast to join our team as a Part-Time Wine Advisor. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, sharing your expertise on various wines, and assisting customers in making informed wine selections. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work for People's Wine with a friendly team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with customers, providing friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers in selecting wines based on their preferences, occasion, and budget.
• Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organised wine shop and wine bar area.
• Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer experience.

Requirements:

• Passion for and knowledge of wines, including different varietals, regions, and wine production processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum WSET Level 2 certification. (If not, we can give training)
• Some experience in hospitality.
