Buronfosse 'L’Hôpital' Trousseau - Jura

From the ever-expressive vineyards of the Jura, L’Hôpital is a beautifully pure Trousseau from Peggy Buronfosse – one of the region’s most thoughtful and intuitive growers. The grapes are grown on marl and limestone soils, giving the wine lift, clarity, and a lovely mineral edge.

Delicate in colour but full of character, this is a light-bodied red with aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry, and gentle spice. On the palate, it’s bright and silky, with fine tannins, refreshing acidity, and a savoury, slightly earthy finish. A quietly complex Jura wine that drinks well with a chill and pairs beautifully with charcuterie, roast poultry, or mushroom dishes.
