L' Enclos des Braves - Faut pas s'en Fer - Gaillac

100% Fer Servadou (Or Braucol)  from vines planted in 1978 on a silty-clay limestone plot farmed biodynamically since 2011.
Macerated for 20 days, only the free-run juice is aged, on the lees in egg-shaped
tanks for 12 months. A deep Intense garnet colour and black fruit and pepper
nose. On the palate, it's fleshy, velvety with plush tannins and fresh flavours of
tangy red berries, blackcurrant buds and crushed peppercorns, with undertones
of winter-spiced chocolate. An expressive wine with a long and lively finish.
Decanter and savour at 14°C with a rack of lamb, char-grilled steak or traditional
French cassoulet.
